Curriculum Intent 

We aim to ensure all children: perform, listen, review, evaluate and compose music. In music we aim to ensure students: 

Understand and explore how music is created, produced and communicated.  

Have opportunities to hone and develop the practical aspects of performance both independently and in ensemble groups.   

Develop life skills, such as confidence, creativity, self- awareness, perseverance and discipline which gives them a holistic experience that they can take beyond their musical studies and into future life and employment.
