Meet our Staff
Miss D Bryant - Teacher
Miss Bryant joined the Promise School in summer 2022. She teaches Grebes class (years 3/4/5). Miss Bryant has taught across the primary age range and within many schools of DMAT. She enjoys teaching all subjects but has a particular interest in art and design, forest school and the EYFS curriculum. Miss Bryant strives to ensure her teaching is exciting, fun and inclusive to all learners.
Miss S Manton - Teacher
Miss Manton joined the Promise School at the start of the school year in September 2022 as the Art & Specialist Teacher. She is also our Year 8/9 Tutor and is in her early years of teaching. She brings not only knowledge in her specialism but also knowledge of unique subjects such as Japanese.
Mrs C Redding - Teacher
Mrs Redding joined the Promise School in the Summer term 2023. During the last 10 years, Mrs Redding has taught in a range of primary and secondary schools in and around the Exeter area. She currently teaches Rashford class working with our secondary students. Mrs Redding has a specialism in science but enjoys teaching all subjects across the curriculum.

Miss R Fish - Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Miss Fish joined the Promise School at its opening in September 2022 as a HLTA. She works at the secondary site with years 8 & 9. She has worked in an SEMH school previously in London for 2 years and has worked in SEMH within the Trust since September 2021.
Miss C Ford - Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Miss Ford is the HLTA for year 7. She joined the Promise School in September 2022. She has previous experience within a SEN school and worked within the care sector.
Miss T Furneaux - Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Miss Furneaux has been a member of the Promise School since September 2022. She works across the primary school classes in both Skylarks and Grebes as a HLTA. She has worked within DMAT since 2017 in various roles at both Boasley Cross and Exbourne Primary Schools.
Mr R Jimenez Ruiz - Higher Level Teaching Assistant
Miss Y Markou - Higher Level Teaching Assistant
As a senior HLTA Miss Markou works closely with the senior leadership to provide support across the school. She brings a wealth of experience of working in primary schools, spanning 15 years, with specialist skills such as delivering art across the curriculum and is a champion for encouraging a passion for reading in reluctant readers. Miss Markou is a creative HLTA who is experienced in supporting children with SEN/SEMH needs to remove barriers to learning so they can thrive.
Miss A Brint – Teaching Assistant
Mrs N Bryant – Teaching Assistant
Miss Bryant joined the Promise School on the opening day in September 2022 and works as a Teaching Assistant in year 7. She has previously worked in mainstream schools alongside SEN children.
Miss B Mason – Teaching Assistant
Miss Mason has been a valuable member of the team at the Promise School since September 2022. She works alongside both of our primary school classes in Grebes and Skylarks as a Teaching Assistant. Miss Mason as worked as a volunteer within DMAT since 2021 in both Bridestowe and Lydford Primary Schools. Since gaining her experience in the classroom, Miss Mason's objective is to nuture and encourage children with further educational needs to fulfil their goals and individual requirements.
Mrs A Stephens – Teaching Assistant
Mrs Stephens joined the Promise School in September 2022 and works with the year 7 Swifts class. She has previous experience working in the care sector from elderly, learning disability to escorting children to school.
Mrs S White – Teaching Assistant
Mrs White started at the Promise School at the beginning of the school year in September 2022. Mrs White is based in the year 8/9 classroom working alongside Mrs Manton as a Teaching Assistant. She has a keen interest in animals, gardening and enjoys being outside.
Mrs C Bolton – Office Manager
Mrs Bolton joined the Promise School at the beginning of November 2022 as our dedicated Office Manager. She will be your first point of contact with the school. She has worked across the Trust in various roles and has a wealth of administration and finance experience.
