KPI 3
KPI 3: Partnerships
The nurture philosophy supports learners to develop and sustain secure and positive relationships with their peers, family, training providers and all other partner agencies. Our intention is to empower learners to relate positively to those around them by nurturing and developing their sense of fairness, stability, responsibility and belonging within and beyond school, overcoming barriers that have previously prevented this from being achieved.
Targets
100% of learners will experience unconditional positive regard and high-quality relationships with the adult team. This will be a product of our supportive model of engagement with both the curriculum opportunities and staff members.
At least 80% of learners who are Persistent Absentees (PA) to improve their attendance within their first term and sustain this continued improvement. A key common feature of the target cohort is previously poor engagement in education frequently characterised by very low attendance rates. Through our nurture philosophy relational approach and engagement with wider multi-agency support, including family focussed interventions, we will secure rapid and sustained improvement in attendance.
At least 70% of learners to achieve 95% attendance or above. We are committed to improve learners’ attendance whilst recognising that there will be a small proportion of learners for whom this will be a significant challenge. Narrowing the attendance gap for this cohort will be a sustained priority.
100% of parents will have access to the highest quality of home-school engagement and communication. This will ensure that they are well informed about their child’s learning. This will be evidenced by discussions with parents / carers at review meetings and annual survey completion.
